When challenges arise, we work together to find solutions. That’s why We are the Caring Choice.

Adult Family Care Staff

We are a caring, dedicated team of nurses, social workers and support staff.
We work to ensure that every participant and caregiver receives the best possible service.

Nina Cohen (LICSW), Director

Nina has been with Adult Family Care since 2012. She served as the program Social Work Manager for nine years before being promoted to Adult Family Care director in 2021. Nina started at Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services in 2007 with the Protective Services program. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College. Her areas of expertise include crisis intervention and family systems work.

Monicah Marsh, Nurse Manager

Monicah has been with Adult Family Care since 2013. Prior to being promoted to Nurse Manager, she was a Community Health Nurse with the program for eight years, specializing in assessments and admissions. She holds a degree in nursing from Salem State University. She enjoys enrolling new families into Adult Family Care and working with them to help provide the best care at home.

You make my daughter feel important and treat her like a real person. You help me to problem solve and be a better Mom to her.
